Rhema Miracle Centre Church began as a divine calling placed in the heart of Dr. Joseph Jal and Dr. Akeir Kuol, who now serve as Co-Lead Pastors.
In 2012, God spoke clearly to begin a ministry focused on young people who felt disconnected from traditional church environments. This calling was not rooted in disagreement with the Church, but in a deep burden for believers—especially young ministers and friends—who were struggling spiritually, emotionally, and personally within ministry settings.
The vision was later confirmed through multiple prophetic and spiritual confirmations.
One of the daughters in the Lord shared a repeated dream, received over three consecutive nights, in which she saw the pastors beginning a new ministry. She hesitated at first, but eventually felt strongly led by God to share the dream, confirming what God was already speaking.
Further confirmation came during a visit to Oklahoma City, where the pastors met with Pastor George. During a time of prayer, he prophetically declared that “the Lord is saying it is time to start the ministry.”
Upon returning to Calgary, these confirmations aligned with what God had already been revealing, and the pastors sought confirmation from their local covering pastor, who also affirmed the calling.
Shortly after, the first official gathering took place with only the pastors, their two children, and one additional person. From this small beginning, weekly prayer meetings and fellowship gatherings continued faithfully.
As time progressed, God began to bring growth. The home basement quickly became too small, requiring the church to move into rented facilities. The congregation began to grow, particularly among young people struggling with addiction, brokenness, and life challenges.
Through the ministry of the Word, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit, many experienced deliverance, healing, restoration, and transformation. The church became known for the tangible presence of God and the operation of His power.
Today, Rhema Miracle Centre Church stands as a testimony of God’s faithfulness, grace, and supernatural expansion.
